UnboundCard contains affiliate links to financial products, primarily ether.fi Cash. When you click a link or button on this site and subsequently sign up for a card, the issuer may pay a commission to UnboundCard. This commission typically takes one of two forms:

• A one-time signup bonus, or
• An ongoing percentage of your card spend (typically 0.1% to 0.4%).

This does not change what you pay. You receive the same terms, same fees, and same rewards whether or not you arrived via a link on this site. The commission is paid by the card issuer out of their own marketing budget, not added to your costs.

How recommendations are made

Recommendations are made on the merits of each card for the specific use case at hand. ether.fi Cash is the most-recommended card on this site because, after 12 months of personal use, it is the card I would use as a digital nomad in SE Asia. If a different card wins for a particular use case, that's the card recommended on that page — even if the affiliate commission is smaller or zero.

Trustworthiness

The fastest way to lose your trust is to recommend a card that's worse just because the commission is bigger. The economics of this site depend on readers signing up to cards they actually use long-term. A bad recommendation that pays well today is a churned user tomorrow — which means the long-term economics align with giving you honest advice.
